It seemed like only yesterday...

I wrote two drabbles! They’re both exactly one-hundred words. I searched up "Drabble Prompts" on Google, and on the first place that had a nice list of prompts, this was the first one: It seemed like only yesterday. Immediately, InuYasha came to mind. About half way through that one, I realized that Twilight would also work very well. So I made both! Afterwards, I thought maybe a Hunger Games one. Oh, and Percy Jackson. Nah, just two. I might make more later, but this is it for now. (Oh, and FYI, this paragraph is a 100-word drabble, too!)

**Spoiler Alert for the ending of InuYasha, and the whole plot of New Moon.**

She stared into space, not willing to look at her familier surroundings. It had been a mistake, coming to the well again. She had been doing so good not thinking about him, these past few months. But Sota had lost his ball, and she had volunteered to get it... and here she was. In the well house. Alone with her memeries. It seemed like only yesterday that she had jumped into this well, ready for another week or two of adventuring... but it was’t. It hadn’t happened in years. And it would never happen again. She missed him so much.

She had made a mistake in coming here, she could tell. There was too much of him tied up in her memories of this place, despite the unfamilier long grasses covering the yard. It seemed like only yesterday he was walking her up to the door, the path lined with roses and candles. To a smiling family, waiting with presents and cake and disaster. If only they were her family, but they were his, and so they left with him. The hole in her heart grew ever-deeper as she thought of them. The family she would never see again.
